Electronics unit QE 301

The electronics unit is the core of the Q-Sense D300 system and contains all necessary components to enable high performance QCM-D measurements. A QCM-D or QCM system is never more accurate than the reference oscillator of the electronics. Q-Sense uses a highly stable reference oscillator, which guarantees small long and short term frequency deviations. QE 301 also holds a high performance temperature control circuit. In combination with the patented way of exciting a quartz crystal and record the response of the freely oscillating crystal, it means high sensitivity, in ideal conditions 0.9 ng/cm2, and high time resolution; up to 30 data points per second, frequency and dissipation values simultaneously.
