SQUID Systems

Quantum Design's patented high-symmetry SQUID design and complete systems provide the most rugged and sensitive all-thin-film sensors commercially available. These sensors give you everything you need to configure flexible, powerful systems and can easily withstand the rigors of a laboratory environment such as repeated temperature cycling. Their robust performance offers reliability and adaptability that has earned QD a worldwide reputation as the SQUID of choice. OEM services are also available for special commercial applications.

DC SQUID Systems

SP5000 - High performance DC-SQUID system with Model 5000 controller for up to eight channels (not CE Compliant).

System components:
Model 5000: MultiChannel dc-SQUID Control Unit fitted with 1 channel (expandable).
Simultaneous overall display of one to eight channels on the front panel LCD show independent values for range, gain, bandwidth, status, and filter states
Model 500: dc-SQUID MultiCARD & 4 Meter MicroPREAMP cable
Model 50: dc-Thin-Film SQUID Sensor
Model DFP-1: Flexible dc-SQUID Probe


SP550 - Single channel DC SQUID system (CE Compliant)

System components:
Model 550: Single dc-SQUID Control Unit; Low-power, low-noise electronics in a compact package; enhanced tuning capabilities to ease optimisation for low-noise operation; compensation for zero temperature coefficient
Model 55: 4 Meter MicroPREAMP cable
Model 50: dc-Thin-Film SQUID Sensor
Model DFP-1: Flexible dc-SQUID Probe


DC + RF SQUID Systems

Stand-alone RF-SQUID systems are no longer available.
