New solar simulators by LOT-Oriel

Solar simulators provide a broadband spectrum close to that of the sun from the UV to the IR. The core of the system is a xenon arc lamp that reaches color temperatures of approximately 6000 K. We provide solar simulators with a wide range of illumination fields for different sample sizes and budgets. Thanks to the cooperation with our long time partner LEJ (Leistungselektronik Jena), we can now offer solar simulators with illumination fields from 25 mm in diameter to 260 mm x 260 mm square all from a single source.

With this product range, we can satisfy the demand for both small and cost-effective systems for organic solar cell research and precise AAA systems for large samples for the manufacturers of silicon based solar cells and mini modules.
