ZYGO's proprietary FlashPhase™ acquisition technology provides an interferometer with phase measurement capability without vibration sensitivity. Standard phase measurement acquisition methods acquire multiple frames of intensity data to produce a surface or wavefront map. Vibrations that occur within the measurement period can corrupt the data. With ZYGO's FlashPhase™ acquisition technology, a single frame of phase data is rapidly acquired, essentially eliminating measurement sensitivity to vibration and turbulence.
The technique, although computationally complex, is very fast on today's powerful computers. FlashPhase™ software can be easily added to systems running MetroPro® software, providing the user with the flexibility to conveniently switch between acquisition methods to adapt to a specific metrology need. Even third-party visual-based systems, which were previously limited by the operator's ability to interpret interferograms, can now be upgraded to phase acquisition with data analysis using ZYGO's powerful MetroPro® software with FlashPhase™. The only requirement is a video output of the interferogram.
