The DM100 series lets you take measurements and analyze the results with one single tool. The instruments can be customized to meet even the widest range of applications.
It can not only be used for magnetic characterization, but also for in vitro and in vivo experiments. The sample is inserted into the applicator, where an alternating magnetic field is applied. The field parameters can be set between 0 to 300/600 Gauss at a freely selectable frequency.
The time-resolved temperature change is observed and recorded and can be readily used for data-analysis.
The DM100 can be used for the magnetic characterization of colloids and any in vitro and in vivo experiments with magnetic nanostructured materials, which absorb the energy of the AC field and transfer it to heat. Typical samples are magnetic nanoparticles like colloids or ferrofluids. This effect is called inductive heating and is used in the characterization of such materials, but also in material science, pharmacy and medicine.
