Surface Plasmon Spectroscopy (SPS)

Surface Plasmon Spectroscopy (SPS) has established itself as a very powerful technology for labelfree interaction analysis on surfaces in real-time. It utilizes changes in surface sensitive propagation of evanescent waves due to adsorption of molecules.

Our offering includes 2 systems with different approach:

  • a research grade RT-08 Surface Plasmon Spectrometer originally developed at the Max-Planck-Institute in Mainz, Germany, suitable for method development and most flexible operation

  • a 2-channel SPR-Navi 200 from Bionavis with an increased angular scan and integrated high performance liquid handling for routine measurement and application.
