Light sources for Microscopy

These compact light sources were especially designed as external sources to be used with microscopes. They produce intense UV/VIS or VIS light provided by a liquid light guide.

The main application areas are:

• Bright field and dark field microscopy
• Fluorescence excitation
• Forensics

The system is completely integrated into a compact enclosure with lamp, power supply, ignitor, cooling fan and light guide holder. It also features an electronic shutter and a mechanical dimming assembly. The lamps are either 120 or 200 W AC Hg, or 100 W DC Xe with integrated reflector. Adapters are available for the most common microscopes from Zeiss, Leica, Olympus, Nikon and Motic.
